Video, Another Way To Tell A Story.
First of all, we need to diversify our newsrooms. We need to be bringing in a different, more rich culture of people with different perspectives. To tell stories that need to be told, we can’t be telling the same old, same old, we can’t be reaching the same experts.
Do Hispanic/Latino Audiences Want To Listen To or Watch What You Have To Offer?
The reality may be that newsrooms won’t reach a large portion of the Spanish-speaking audience unless they provide news in Spanish. Remember though, there are a lot of us. Know what’s important to us, then use that.
